  • "Society's Govern Golden Job Souvenir to be put on website"

"Money and direction, equipment and system administration and control are indespensible but in education there is nothing that matters so much as real motives and idology of teacher".

  • Technology is just a tool in terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is most important. There can be infinite uses of technology, but its the teacher whose teachings it in the classroom and makes it work.

Teachers can open the door, but pupils must enter by themselves. Though we as teachers can't direct the winds but we can adjust the sails. We can awaken students' curiosity and put a spark.

Republic Day 2017 Events

Republic Day Celebrations:

The Tricolour Sets LPS sports complex Aglow

In India, Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.

The Constitution was passed by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 but was adopted on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system, completing the country transition toward becoming an independent republic. 26 January was selected for this purpose because it was this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was proclaimed by the Indian National Congress.

To pay tribute to the wonderful Indian history called for the celebration. The LPS sports complex was aglow with the sparkling hues of saffron, green and white even though the sky threatened to remain grey. All LPS branches assembled at the lush green lawn of the L.P.Savani Sports complex Bhata to pay rich tributes at the feet of Bharat Mata. The day unfurled with the unfurling of the Indian Tricolour by the Chairman Shri Mavji bhai Savani and the other eminent guest of the day.

Thereafter, there were heart-warming and invigorating speeches and sonorous singing by the LPS choir which lifted our souls with the beautiful melody of ‘saare jahan se achcha hindustan hamara’..The next couple of hours were filled with glorious celebration of the Republic Day. The green ground turned colourful with the dancing and the joyful and soulful tramping of the students.

The day’s biting chillness all went for a toss since all the dances warmed our spirits. But the day’s pivotal event was the Grand Finale with A R Rahman’s modern tune of Vande Mataram. Our all the sister branches presented the tableau of different states, where we represented ASSAM State. It was real fun to dress up, dance and sing on assamese songs.

Jai Hind!

It is one of three national ho
lidays in India, other two being Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti.
